Shipping Processes and Timelines
1. Delivery time to mainland Portugal is 1 to 3 business days, except for flagged products where delivery may take 2 to 3 weeks. During holiday periods (last week of November through the second week of January) and summer season, delivery may be extended. For the Azores and Madeira, delivery takes 3 to 15 days (on request). For other countries, please contact us.
Texland operates Monday to Friday. Order processing begins only after payment validation, stock verification, quality control and carrier pickup. Orders placed after 1:00 PM are processed the next business day. It is not possible to arrange specific delivery times or dates.
If a delivery attempt fails (due to parcel size or no one being available to receive it), a second attempt will be made. If this is also unsuccessful, the customer must contact the carrier to arrange redelivery — this will be charged to the customer. In the event of loss or damage in transit, Texland will refund the carrier compensation amount, minus shipping costs.

For international orders, shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination and weight. For deliveries outside the EU, customs duties and import taxes may apply and are the customer's responsibility.

- Orders that may exceed 100 kg of fabric.
Returns, Refunds and Exchanges
Texland's returns policy distinguishes between two types of products:
1. Custom-cut fabrics and made-to-order items
Fabrics sold by the metre are cut to the customer's specifications at the time of ordering. As these are goods manufactured to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised, no returns, exchanges or cancellations are possible after payment confirmation.
This exception is provided for in Article 17(c) of Decree-Law No. 24/2014 of 14 February.
Cancellation is only possible before payment, as the fabric is cut only after payment is confirmed.
Applies to all products sold by the metre or by the roll.
2. Pre-made items — Home Textiles and other non-personalised goods
Pre-made items available at Texland — including bath towels, bath mats, bed sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers, bedspreads, blankets, fabric adhesives, ropes and threads, upholstery foam and sofa foam — are not personalised and are subject to the right of withdrawal under Decree-Law No. 24/2014.
The customer has the right to return these items within 14 days of receipt, without giving any reason, provided that:
- The item is returned in perfect condition, unused, unwashed and undamaged
- The item is returned in its original packaging or equivalent packaging that ensures the integrity of the product
- The customer notifies Texland of their intention to return by email: geral@texland.pt
Return shipping costs:
Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. We recommend sending the parcel with tracking.
Refund:
Upon receipt and inspection, Texland will refund the product value (excluding original shipping costs) within 14 days, using the same payment method as the original purchase.
Returns procedure (pre-made items)
- Send an email to geral@texland.pt with the subject "Return — [order number]" within 14 days of receipt
- Wait for confirmation from Texland with shipping instructions
- Send the item to the address provided — return shipping is at the customer's expense
- Upon receipt and inspection, the refund will be processed within 14 days
Defective or incorrectly shipped items
Regardless of product type, if you receive a defective item or one that differs from what you ordered, Texland will exchange it or issue a full refund including shipping costs. Please contact us within 48 hours of receipt.
